Wedding Lunch Gig @ Grand Shanghai

It was a joy to be back at Grand Shanghai Restaurant to perform for Jin Hui & Beverly’s wedding. The venue exudes the charm of a classic Chinese restaurant, elevated with a touch of elegance. With its stage layout, it instantly transports you back to the 1930s, and the spacious setting lends a wonderfully theatrical feel to the performance.

Performing at Grand Shanghai, we naturally received many requests for Shanghai jazz and classic oldies, including 《上海滩》, 《夜上海》, 《给我一个吻》, and 《情人》 by Beyond. We concluded the evening with 《海阔天空》 as the finale, specially requested by the wedding couple.

We had a fantastic time performing as a trio, with the wonderful addition of Boon Chye on the saxophone. Wishing Jin Hui & Beverly a blessed and joyful marriage once again!
